1. Lubuntu
Lubuntu is fast, lighweight distro based on Ubuntu and comes installed with the LXDE desktop environment. Because it’s based on Ubuntu, you can install programs from Ubuntu’s software repositories. It is intended to have low system requirements and is designed primarily for older PCs. 
Windows users will find Lubuntu  familiar due to its easy to use desktop interface.

2. Puppy Linux
Puppy Linux is one of the best Lightweight Linux distros available. It uses JWM and Openbox window managger by deafult. Puppy has a number of really good applications with small footprints.
